So, yesterday I was in my crawlspace under my house to check out where I can place some phone and tv cables. After I was done, I made my way to the exit. A little background on the exit. It is a trap door in the closet floor in our spare bedroom. The opening to the trap door is partially in the room, and there are sliding doors for the closet, which sit directly above the trap door. Normally, I remove the doors when I go under the house, but this time, I thought I could push the closet doors forward enough to open the trap door. Then prop the trap door open, so it doesn’t close.
That did not work. I was stuck in the crawlspace. I was home alone, Mary was at work, and I had blocked my only exit out. Luckily, I had my work cell phone on me. I texted Mary “trapped in crawlspace. need help.” She called right away, and asked if I was ok. She couldn’t come to help because it was homecoming that day. She called Kass who came and left me out. I haven’t gone back in the crawlspace yet.
